PVW identifies rare earth potential in the West Tanami desert

ASX: PVW

PVW Resources is moving to detailed drilling following observation of more than two kilometres of rare earth mineralisation at the Killi Killi Tanami project in Western Australia’s far north.

In conjunction with a progressing airborne study, a field survey has highlighted an 18-kilometre geological trend indicating the likelihood of regional REE mineralisation extending into more than 400 square kilometres of pending tenements.

The company, which has updated its corporate presentation, is undertaking surveys following up on previous unchecked exploration for over a decade, including site visits to the Watts Rise and Killi Killi East prospects to review surface geology and mineralisation.

“Whilst historical drilling in the early 2010s intersected REE mineralisation, the style of mineralisation was not recognised or well understood at that time”, executive director George Bauk said.

“Following the outcomes of the field program led by Consulting Geologist Robin Wilson, PVW has applied for a further three tenements in the Tanami region, which are prospective for REE mineralisation.”

PVW is looking forward to sharing the survey results and a mineralogy report with shareholders soon.

PVW Resources Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price was 18c today (9:43 am GMT+ hours).
