Dalaroo Metals has completed maiden RC drilling targeting lead-zinc and copper deposits akin to Broken Hill-type/SEDEX deposit-hosting Lyons River project in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia.
The drilling intersected galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite, supporting the potential district-scale of the deposit while highlighting striking similarities to the proven mineral hosting geology of the region.
Four Corners is just one of the six geochemical prospects identified at the strategic position. The nearly-2000 metres of drill holes will test base metal targets and better understand the region’s geochemistry.
Assay results for four-metre composite samples are expected to be available in the new year’s March quarter.
Further exploration activities for Lyons River in 2022 include;
– Assessment of gravity survey data for to Four Corners and Browns project is well underway.
– Specialist geophysical contractor conducting surface and radial IP surveys in the March quarter.
– Heritage surveys are planned for further drill testing.
