Forrestania Resources will include a more promising lithium potential pipeline to its growing bag of lithium-gold-nickel prospects across the Forrestania, Southern Cross and Leonora project areas.
As geopolitical uncertainty keeps a fire lit underneath lithium, nickel and gold, the company is now advancing 28 lithium-bearing priority prospects where lithium-bearing pegmatites have been found to target significant lithium discoveries throughout the project.
Part of the prospects will include follow up on the recent geological fieldwork at Forrestania’ s South Iron Cap East and Banon prospects.
At the same time, recent remarkable gold exploration at Lady Lila, Black Prince, and Great Southern projects has triggered follow up drilling focused on further strike and depth extensions on the rising precious metal.
The company said the programs continue to build momentum and confidence for making potentially significant lithium, gold and nickel discoveries.
“With the team now in place, it has been a hectic period,” chief executive Angus Thomson said.
“The geology team has built a high-quality exploration pipeline of lithium, gold and early-stage nickel prospects in a short period.
“Recent drilling at Lady Lila was highly successful and confirmed strike and depth extensions to mineralisation.”
The company is awaiting the results of a high-resolution aeromagnetic survey to identify prospective structures for drill hole targeting.
FRS’s Australian Stock Exchange share price has risen 12.9 per cent today, trading at 35c (12:11 pm GMT+ 8 hours).
