Bindi Metals will move forward with drill testing following survey results that revealed high copper, silver and gold potential at its Biloela project in central Queensland.

Bindi’s interest in the project surrounds two areas of the site, the Flanagans in the north and the Great Blackall in the south.

Rock chip testing across the Biloela project confirmed high-grade outcropping mineralisation with 13.4 grams per tonne gold, 100g/t silver and 5.1 per cent copper at Flanagan’s and 9.8g/t Au, 89g/t Ag and 12.1 per cent Cu at the Great Blackall site.

Mineralised subcrop at Flanagan’s returned 5.1 % copper, 39 g/t silver, 1.1 g/t gold (sample 147401).

While both areas have huge potential, Flanagans could be the greater prize as it boasts a 1.5-kilometre long by 500m wide untouched gold mineralisation.

Soil samples taken at the project revealed eight new high-priority targets for the area and extended known mineralisation in Flanagans by 1200m and Great Blackall by 550m.

The company said the project’s results, scale, and potential had significantly increased.

“This is a great start for the company, and we will be very busy testing these targets in Q3 and Q4 this year,” said executive director of Bindi Metals Henry Renou.

The company will begin planning its maiden drill program and continue soil sampling in other project areas.

BIM’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed price was trading at 17.5c today (12.25pm UTC+ 8 hours).
