Maximus expand its Spargoville strategy

Maximus' Wattle Dam gold project

Maximus Resources have added the Kemble prospect to an exciting portfolio of projects around the gold-rich Spargoville shear zone southwest of Kambalda in Western Australia.

Exploration across Kemble has been limited but promising, with considerable amounts of near-surface gold backed up by regional magnetics indicating mineralisation in sync with nearby occurrences.

Favourable geography and soil samples have also indicated the tenement holds significant added nickel potential.

Located only three kilometres away from the company’s flagship Wattle Dam gold project in the highly mineralised yet under-explored corridor west of the Spargoville shear zone, the company said it is excited to expand its strategy in the area.

“A review of legacy exploration and geophysics data together with the recent prospecting activities are very encouraging, and we look forward to updating shareholders as we commence the Kemble exploration programme over the coming months,” managing director Tim Wither said.

Next up for Maximus is detailed field mapping ahead of a high-resolution magnetic survey to support the anticipated drill campaign.

MXR’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed price was trading at 5.9c today (10:41 am UTC+8 hours).
