Power Metal set priority drilling

LON: POW

Power Metal Resources have finished up an extensive ground magnetic survey dedicated to the high priority T1-6 target at its Molopo Farms Complex in southwestern Botswana as it moves ever closer to drilling.

Now estimated at a hefty 2600 metres of strike length and a down dip extent of 1000m — the priority conductor has its parameters established for the first two planned holes.

Also revealed was an east-west trending anomaly at the southern edge of the area, intersecting the T1-6 down dip ahead of a 2000 metre campaign targeting a large scale discovery of nickel, copper and platinum group elements.

A stream of news has been building momentum for Molopo Farms and with the rig on site, the company said it expected to soon begin drilling its first priority hole.

“It is less than a month since the initial geophysical survey findings at T1-6 that inspired this acceleration to drill and I look forward to providing further progress updates,” chief executive Paul Johnson said.

Further surveys are currently underway, continuing until drilling commences later this month.

POW’s London Stock Exchange-listed share price has risen 1.67 per cent today, selling at 1.53 British pence (9.50 am UTC+ 8 hours).
