Dalaroo chip into a rare earth province

5 October 2022 12:01
ASX: DAL

Dalaroo Metals are set to take advantage of an emerging rare earth district in Western Australia’s Gascoyne province with inaugural rock chip testing of the Lyons River project returning grades as high as 1536 parts per million total rare earth oxides.

Just yesterday Minerals 260 acquired the adjoining Ti Tree rare earths-nickel-copper-lithium project for over $15 million amid exceptional rare earth results, discoveries, and resources at surrounding projects.

New assessment of existing detailed airborne magnetics/radiometric data by Dalaroo has defined signatures adjacent to major structures deemed prospective by the region’s fellow rare earth explorers.

“The Gascoyne is a hotspot for rare earths and we are delighted to get such encouraging results from our first ever surface sampling,” managing director Harjinder Kehal said.

“With expected high forecast demand for rare earths, we look forward to following up with further exploration.”

Dalaroo have wasted no time for the follow up, with in-depth rock chip sampling already underway in areas of REE anomalism.

DAL’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price has risen 22.73 per cent today, now selling at 14c (11.22 am UTC+ 8 hours).
