Raiden’s first results come up platinum

ASX: RDN

Raiden Resources initial assays have confirmed near surface and broad zones of high-grade nickel-copper-platinum group element sulphide mineralisation at Mt Sholl’s B2 deposit.

It is an auspicious start to assays after all holes to date from the maiden program intersected visual mineralisation.

Results are backing up the geological model, with massive, semi-massive and disseminated sulphide mineralisation correlating well to both assay results and historical drilling.

The return of significant platinum group values is notably correlated with high values of nickel and copper and, in particular, palladium was associated with most of the higher-grade intercepts.

The company said initial results had correlated very well to the modelling of the B2 deposit, which extends over an open 2.5 kilometre strike length.

“The high grades and the widths intersected in the initial holes at Mt Sholl are exciting to say the least,” managing director Dusko Ljubojevic said.

“The consistency of the mineralisation across the sections to date is very encouraging and continue to support management’s view that Mt Sholl has the potential to develop into Australia’s next exciting Nickel-Copper-PGE deposit.”

Assays for the remaining holes are expected to come in through the coming weeks.

RDN’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price has risen 25 per cent today, currently selling at 1c (10.07 am UTC+ 8 hours).
