Ragnar strike massive at Tullsta

ASX: RAG

Ragnar Metals have intersected 137 metres of visual sulphides within the Granmuren intrusion, including both massive and semi massive sulphide zones northwest of Stockholm at its wholly owned Swedish Tullsta nickel project.

It wraps up phase one drilling, having proven the geological model while showing extensive scale potential of the Granmuren nickel-copper discovery.

Since marking discovery and the return of hole 21DDTS007 with grades of 0.6% nickel, 0.5% copper and 0.05% cobalt over 146.3 metres, drilling has continued to demonstrate an expansive system lying in the Swedish ground.

The company said drilling had completed its goal of intersecting the surrounding sulphides, showing up visual over substantial widths in adjacent holes.

“Phase 1 drilling demonstrates the potential scale of the Granmuren system, and we are excited the intersection of sulphides confirms the geophysical modelling to generate drill targets is working,” executive director Eddie King said.

“Based on the impressive visual sulphides and the technical information gathered from this round of drilling, we have a better understanding of the geological model and the ore forming process of the Granmuren mineralisation.”

Ragnar now await assay results and geophysical modelling to begin targeting for the next round of drilling, with a new geological model and an advanced goal of unlocking the full potential from Granmuren.

RAG’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price was trading at 2c today (10.04 am UTC+8 hours).
