Charger greenlit on Bynoe Lithium

ASX: CHR

Charger Metals have received approvals for up to 318 drill holes at Bynoe and already have boots on the ground as it prepares for its maiden lithium campaign in the Northern Territory.

The project is encircled by the advanced-stage Finnis lithium project, holding a mineral resource estimate of 18.9Mt at 1.32% Li2O, with mapping indicating its pegmatites extend onto Bynoe.

Drilling will target the spodumene-bearing lithium-ceasium-tantalum pegmatite dyke swarms believed to lie in zones at Megabucks and 7-Up, which combine for 11.5 kilometres of territory to uncover.

The company said it plans to drill as many holes as the weather will allow.

“With Bynoe drilling approvals now received, Charger personnel are on-site finalising access to the proposed drill sites following recent weather events,” managing director David Crook said.

“The company believes that the Bynoe Lithium Project provides an excellent, drill-ready opportunity, targeting outcropping pegmatites with strong lithium anomalies.”

Charger meanwhile prepares for another lithium drill campaign to kick off at Lake Johnston project next month.

CHR’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed price has risen 18.18 per cent today, currently selling at 52c (10.28 am UTC+ 8 hours).
