Tyranna intersect wide Muvero lithium

ASX: TYX

Tyranna Resources have intersected over 20 metres of lithium mineralisation at the Muvero prospect, confirming broad zones lying below the surface of its Angolan Namibe project.

All holes so far have intersected the targeted pegmatite, with the 20-metre-wide intersection at hole NDDH004 dominated by visual spodumene.

Drilling has just hit halfway of the inaugural six-hole campaign that started late last month, targeting pegmatites which have shown their lustre with grades up to 9.74 per cent lithium oxide.

With knowledge in hand from the first two holes, Tyranna is opting for more shallow holes to allow greater coverage of the pegmatite field for follow up.

The company said as drilling progresses, the nature of the pegmatite field is becoming clear, indicating potential for a significant lithium discovery.

The rig is about to finish up the fourth hole, before moving on, with hole NDDH002 set to be drilled with Tyranna’s directors on site.

TYX’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price is trading at 3.5c (11.39 am UTC+ 8 hours).
