ASX: BRK

Brookside Energy keep up the pace in Oklahoma and have kicked off the second phase of development drilling across its holdings in the world-renowned Anadarko basin.

In the midst of what could be a company-making year, the company has spudded its fourth well in the basin with the Wolf Pack Well expected to be drilled to an estimated depth of 17,000 feet.

Wolf Pack is homed within the SWISH Area of Interest, home to the explorer’s three other producing wells, and lies in spitting distance of Rangers, which brought in 6.75 million dollars in revenue after just a month and a half of operation.

Brookside’s developments in SWISH have proven to be low risk with high returns, with the company’s recent acquisition of a fourth drill spacing unit in SWISH building up an already stacked inventory of wells.

The company said it is excited to be kicking off phase two of development in one of the world’s great energy hubs.

“We look forward to bringing news of operations from our Wolf Pack Well to our shareholders over the coming weeks as we move forward with drilling and to completion and ultimately turn the well to sales,” managing director David Prentice said.

BRK’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price has risen 4.54 per cent today, selling at 1.1c (10.47 am UTC+ 8 hours).
