Dalaroo going deep at the Browns prospect

ASX: DAL

Dalaroo Metals have brought in high-grade base metals and silver rock chip results from geological reconnaissance over the Brown’s prospect at its Lyons River project in the Gascoyne province of Western Australia.

Results of close to 40 per cent lead and 82 grams per tonne silver spotlights potential for high-grade mineralisation at depth.

Rock chips were returned from gossanous units, which the explorer has interpreted to represent a surface expression of the sulphide mineralisation intersected in first pass AC drilling in July.

Spot prices for lead, zinc, silver and copper have all increased significantly over the past week, while Lyons River has also showcased rare earth potential with high grade results from an emerging REE province.

The company said results demonstrated significant base metal enrichment and that high-grade mineralisation processes have taken place at the prospect.

“The potential for discovering additional high-grade zones at Browns is deemed strong following the delineation of a Pb-Zn-Ag mineralizes zone over an approximately 800 m strike length in July 2022 AC drilling,” managing director Harjinder Kehal said.

“Our next step is to drill a 2,000 metre focused follow up second phase program with angled air core drill holes which will test the size of Pb-Zn-Ag mineralised system at Browns.”

The program is planned to begin at Browns pending final approvals.

DAL’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price was trading at 13c today (9.21 am UTC+ 8 hours).
