Dalaroo grow Gascoyne gold

28 November 2022 11:08
ASX: DAL

Dalaroo Metals have doubled Goodbody’s strike length, extending the prospect’s gold soil footprint to three kilometres from step-out soil sampling at its Lyons River project.

Results outlined three highly anomalous gold in soil centres, all forming separate sub-targets, within a three-kilometre-long combined trend.

The targets have peak gold in soil values of 54 ppb, 93 ppb and 24 ppb, and Goodbody West lies adjacent to a historic 6.25 grams per tonne gold quartz vein rock chip sample, while the others remain untested.

Potentially associated with favourable structural sites for hydrothermal fluid movement and gold mineralisation, the targets stand as a high priority for follow-up.

“The results of our focussed soil sampling program verify and link previous Au-in-soil anomalous sample sites and have extended the wider prospect scale soil anomalism,” managing director Harjinder Kehal said.

The main anomalous gold footprint at Goodbody remains open for several hundred metres to the east and west, and Dalaroo have proposed to complete reconnaissance, sampling, and prospect-scale mapping in this year’s December quarter.

DAL’s Australian Stock Exchange-listed share price was trading at 11c today (9.53 am UTC+ 8 hours).
